Dress in white and join the national strike
By Somos Un Pueblo Unido
SANTA FE, NM–On Monday, May 1st, International Workers Day, hundreds of immigrants and allies will participate in marches and rallies across New Mexico as part of a national day of action.
The Trump administration continues to use its power to ramp up deportations of immigrant workers, families and youth. In addition to tearing families apart, these actions could devastate local economies, especially in New Mexico’s rural communities. Immigrant workers throughout the state are rising up to defend their families and remind lawmakers how vital they are to key industries and local communities.
