Sheriff’s department raises funds for St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Discusses May 6th event on KSWV Que Suave Radio

Deputy Carolina Aguayo and Sgt. James Yeager were live on 99.9fm & 810am to talk about fundraising efforts for St. Baldrick’s Foundations’ Brave the Shave event.

St. Baldrick’s is a national non-profit that has an annual fundraising event to raise money for childhood cancer research. Over the course of the past few years law enforcement agencies nation-wide have become an important participant for this event and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies who are participating have raised nearly $5,000 for St. Baldrick’s.

The St. Baldrick’s Brave the Shave event will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at UNMH. Our participating deputies (10 total, Sgt. Yeager being one of them) will travel to Albuquerque to have their heads shaved in support of kids who are battling cancer.
