Mayor Gonzales’ Invitation to a Rally Against Racism

Greetings!

Santa Fe is at its best when we come together as a community to find peace and healing.

Tragedy that results from hate and bigotry touches us all.

Now we face the return of an old enemy in the racism and hatred so proudly on display in Charlottesville – and in the violence that hate inevitably leads to. We should name it for what it is, and we must speak out against it or risk complicity.

Join us tomorrow on the Plaza, Monday, August 14th, 2017 at 6:00pm as we Rally Against Racism not only to comfort one another, but to build our strength and solidarity to stand up, non-violently, against the rising tide of hate that has already reared its head in Santa Fe and in our country.
