Penelope Hunter-Stiebel, Guest Curator of Mirror, Mirror: Photographs of Frida Kahlo
Penelope Hunter-Stiebel will explore the surviving visual evidence of the world Frida Kahlo knew, from the house where she was born and died, to the school she attended whose walls provided the first commissions for Mexico’s muralists, to the Palacio de Bellas Arts where her body was laid out in state.
