Dear Santa Feans:
As we do every year, we will once again come together as a community to recognize the service of our Veterans with a parade and community celebration on Veterans Day, and I am writing to invite you all to join us.
In partnership with the state’s Department of Veterans Affairs and the Santa Fe Chapter of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and beginning at 10:00am on Veterans Day, on Murales Road, we will kick of the commemoration with a parade, ending at the Bataan Building with a ceremony at 11:00am.
There are only a few occasions throughout the year that we take time aside and dedicate ourselves to saying thank you to the countless New Mexicans who have served our country in the armed forces, in every conflict in our country’s history.
So please help us spread the word and join me on November 11th to honor our veterans once again!
