SANTA FE, NM – The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) Immunization Program announces the launch of two new interactive maps to help residents find a vaccination provider nearest them.
One map is created specifically to help parents of children search for a Vaccines For Children (VFC) provider. The other will assist uninsured adults to link to a nearby healthcare provider that offers immunizations for New Mexicans without medical insurance. Both maps can be found on the NMDOH’s Immunization Program’s webpage at https://nmhealth.org/about/phd/idb/imp/.
These user-friendly tools will quickly identify a provider by simply entering in a home address to see a list of providers within a specified mile range. The user can click on any location to see a list of the provider’s address and phone number and call ahead to inquire about office hours and schedule an appointment.
NMDOH’s Immunization Program plays a vital role in ensuring that all New Mexicans are properly immunized against vaccine-preventable diseases. Additional information on the program, in addition to the vaccine maps, can be found on the hyperlink above.
