PNM Names 17 Albuquerque Businesses “Energy Stars”

Businesses completed enough energy-efficient projects to power 1,318 homes for 1-year

(ALBUQUERQUE, NM) – PNM will recognize 17 local businesses that went above and beyond in saving energy in 2016 by participating in PNM business energy efficiency rebate programs from the Albuquerque area. These businesses will save 1,110,797 kilowatt hours of electricity annually, which is enough to power approximately 1,318 homes for a year.

Who: PNM recognizes General Mills Inc., 505 Marquette LLC (Compass Bank Bldg), MCM Elegante Hotel, Alon 7-11, McDonald’s, IHOP, City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, Lovelace Health System, CNM, DaVita Medical Group, Bernalillo County, Elan Santa Monica, Albuquerque Public Schools, Catholic Charities, Coronado Center LLC, Roses Southwest Papers, and Kaehr Corporation
