Rio Grande Trail Commission to Host Virtual Open House

An Online Public Engagement Event for the Rio Grande Trail Master Plan

Santa Fe, NM – The Rio Grande Trail Commission will be hosting a Virtual Open House, an online public engagement event, for the Rio Grande Trail Master Plan beginning November 13 – 27, 2017.

The Virtual Open House will serve as the first major public outreach event of the Rio Grande Trail Master Plan effort. “I believe this process will create public awareness of the Rio Grande Trail, provide transparency to the master planning process, and spur interest and broad support for the Rio Grande Trail’s development,” said Ken McQueen, EMNRD Cabinet Secretary and Chairman of the Commission.

Visitors can enter the open house from November 13-27 at http://www.riograndetrailnm.com/ and navigate it at their own pace and based on their own interests. The format is user-friendly and graphically-rich. It is designed to require an average of 5 minutes and no more than 15 minutes of a participant’s time.
