Charette Lakes: Closed for the season.

Clayton Lake:  Closed for the season.

Cimarron River: Stream flow below Eagle Nest on Monday was 0.79 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Conchas Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Costilla Creek: Stream flow on Monday below Costilla Dam was 1.23 cfs. Check this one out next spring.

Cowles Ponds: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Coyote Creek: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Eagle Nest Lake: The lake is currently covered with a thin layer of ice and closed to fishing. For ice condition updates, contact the state park office at (575) 377-1594.

Gallinas River: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Hopewell Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Lake Alice: Thin ice has covered the lake and anglers are to stay off until further notice. For updates, contact the state park office at (575) 445-5607.

Lake Maloya: Trout fishing was good using gold spoons, salmon eggs and garlic and salmon peach PowerBait.

Los Pinos River: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Maxwell Lake 13: Closed for the season.

Monastery Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Morphy Lake:  Closed for the season.

Pecos River: Streamflow near Pecos on Monday was 28.8 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using salmon eggs and worms for trout. The best action again this week was reported downstream from the town of Pecos.

Red River: Stream flow below the hatchery on Monday was 47.3 cfs. Fishing near the hatchery was fair to good using worms and salmon eggs for trout.

Red River City Ponds: Closed for the season.

Rio Grande: Stream flow on Monday at the Taos Junction Bridge was 423 cfs. Fishing was slow to fair using worms, Kastmasters and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.

Rio Hondo: Stream flow near Valdez on Monday was 10 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Rio Mora: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Rio Pueblo: Stream flow near Penasco on Monday was 15 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Santa Cruz Reservoir: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Shuree Ponds:  We had no reports from anglers this week.

Springer Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Storrie Lake: Fishing was fair using PowerBait for trout. There was some ice along the shoreline, but several areas were open to bank fishing.

Stubblefield Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Ute Lake: Fishing for walleye and white bass was at best sporadic this past week.  A few were caught by anglers using jigging spoons and jig and grub combinations. We had no other reports. Fishing pressure was very light. The surface water temp ranged from the high 40s to 50 degrees.

Abiquiu Lake: Fishing pressure was very light. We had no reports from anglers.

Animas River: Water flow below Aztec on Monday morning was 230 cfs. Trout fishing was fair to good for anglers using salmon eggs and small spoons.

Albuquerque Area Drains: Fishing in the Albuquerque, Corrales, Belen and Peralta drains was very good using worms, PowerBait, Fire Balls and meal worms for trout. We had no reports on other species.

Bluewater Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using PowerBait, salmon eggs and worms for trout. As of this past Sunday, there was some ice along the shoreline, but plenty of open water for bank fishing. We had no other reports. Fishing pressure was very light.

Brazos River: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Canjilon Lakes: Closed by the U.S. Forest Service until further notice.

Chama River: Monday morning water flows below El Vado and Abiquiu were 306 cfs and 628 cfs respectively. Fishing below El Vado was fair using wooly buggers, night crawlers and Fire Balls for brown and rainbow trout. We had no reports from below Abiquiu, but the action should pick up in this area with the reduced flows.

Cochiti Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

El Vado Lake: Fishing continued to be slow for all species. Fishing pressure was very light.

Fenton Lake: Due to thin ice conditions, the lake is currently closed to fishing. For updated conditions, contact the state park office at (575) 829-3630.

Heron Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait, corn and Fire Balls from the bank for 10 to 17-inch rainbow trout. Kokanee snagging was slow. We had no other reports.

Jackson Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Jemez Waters: Stream flow on the Jemez River near Jemez Springs on Monday morning was 17.9 cfs. Fishing on the lower Jemez was fair to good using worms and mop flies for trout. We had no other reports.

Laguna del Campo: Closed for the season.

Lagunitas Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Lake Farmington: Fishing was fair to good using small spoons, Pistol Petes and PowerBait for trout. We had no reports on other species.

Manzano Lake: Fishing was fair using garlic PowerBait, salmon egg corn combinations and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.

Navajo Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using swim baits for northern pike. Fishing for all other species was slow. Kokanee snagging was slow. Fishing pressure was light.

San Gregorio Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

San Juan River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 387 cfs. Fly fishing action through the Quality waters was fair to good for anglers using small midge patterns, wooly buggers, leech patterns and red larva. Trout fishing through the bait waters was fair using salmon eggs, PowerBait and worms. A river enhancement project has begun and the area between the Simon Point Day-Use Area downriver to the Crusher Hole Day-Use Area is now closed to boat and foot traffic until March 1, 2018. Seven Springs Brood Pond: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Tingley Beach: Fishing at the Youth and Central ponds was very good this past week using PowerBait, salmon eggs, meal worms and Pistol Petes for trout. Some anglers did well fishing just off the bottom while others were using worms and salmon eggs under a bobber. Fishing at the Bob Gerding Catch and Release Pond was good using small leech patterns, San Juan worms and small streamers for trout. We had no other reports.

Trout Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Alumni Pond: Fishing was good using Pistol Petes under a bubble and red and yellow PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.

Bear Canyon Lake: Fishing was very good using Fire Balls and PowerBait for trout. A few trout were also caught by anglers using spinners and spoons. We had no other reports.

Bill Evans Lake: Fishing was good using Pistol Petes under a bubble and PowerBait for trout. We had no reports on other species.

Caballo Lake: Fishing for walleye was fair using swim baits, grubs and jig and minnow combinations. We had no other reports.

Elephant Butte Lake: Fishing was fair to good using blade baits, spoons and jig and grub combinations for white bass. Fishing for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass was slow with just a few caught by anglers using Ned rigs, worms, jigs and creature baits. We had no other reports. The surface water temp was in the 50s.

Escondida Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using PowerBait Fire Balls and worms for trout. We had no other reports.

Gila River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 62.5 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Glenwood Pond: Fishing was good using PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout.

Lake Roberts: Fishing was fair using small spoons, Fire Balls and PowerBait for trout. Fishing for all other species was slow.

Percha Dam: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Quemado Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Rancho Grande Ponds: Fishing was fair using PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.

Rio Grande: Stream flow below Elephant Butte Monday morning was 0.00 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.

Snow Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Young Pond: Trout fishing was very good using PowerBait. A few were also caught by anglers using salmon eggs and hard baits.

Alto Lake: Fishing was fair to good using PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout.

Bataan Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Black River: Stream flow at Malaga on Monday was 14.3cfs. Fishing was good using worms, PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.

Blue Hole Park Pond: Trout fishing was very good for anglers using PowerBait and Fire Balls.

Bonito Lake: Closed until further notice by the city of Alamogordo due to fire damage.

Bosque Redondo Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Bottomless Lakes: Fishing at Devil’s Inkwell was fair to good using PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.

Brantley Lake: Anglers are required to catch and release all fish here as high levels of pesticides have been found in some fish. Fishing was fair using Ned rigs, senkos, worms and jigs for largemouth bass. We had no reports on other species.

Carlsbad Municipal Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait, salmon eggs and worms for trout. We had no other reports.

Chaparral Park Lake: Fishing was good using salmon eggs and PowerBait for trout.

El Rito Creek: Fishing was good using PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.

Eunice Lake: Fishing was good using salmon eggs and PowerBait for trout.

Green Meadow Lake: Fishing was very good using PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout. Fishing was fair using cut bait for catfish. We had no other reports.

Greene Acres Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait, Zeke’s trout bait, Gulp eggs and salmon eggs for trout.

Grindstone Reservoir: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Jal Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Lake Van: Fishing was good using PowerBait and Kastmasters for trout. We had no other reports.

Oasis Park Lake: Fishing was very good using salmon eggs and an assortment of PowerBait for trout. We had no other reports.

Pecos River: Stream flow below Sumner Lake on Monday was 15.5 cfs. Trout fishing was very good for anglers using PowerBait and Fire Balls. We had no other reports.

Perch Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Ruidoso River: Stream flow at Hollywood was 4.83 cfs. Trout fishing was slow.

Santa Rosa Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Sumner Lake: Fishing was slow with just a few walleyes caught by anglers using blade baits and jigging spoons. Fishing pressure was extremely light.
