AARP New Mexico Broadcasts the first Friday of every month at 10am on KSWV

This month AARP is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tax-Aide, the nations’ largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation program. Since 1968 volunteers have been helping people across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
New Mexico has 423 volunteers across 41 sites and annually help thousands of New Mexicans with their taxes.
The two sites in Santa Fe are at the SFCC Fitness Center (2nd floor) and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall.
SFCC: January 29, 2018 – April 17, 2018
Monday and Tuesday 8:30am – 4pm
Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall: February 14, 2018 – April 17, 2018
Monday through Friday 9am – 1pm
Documents recommended by AARP to bring are:
- Photo ID
- Social security cards
- Tax returns
- Proof of income
- Proof of Health Insurance
- Interest or dividends
- Unemployment documents (W2-G form from the labor department)
- Gambling (1099-MISC)
- Medical expenses
- Mortgage interest and property taxes
- Charity donations
- Direct deposit – bring a blank check or savings deposit slip
