The New Mexico Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting regarding proposed interim improvements to address safety concerns at the intersection of NM 599 and County Rd. 70 / Via Verteranos. The improvements would include prohibiting left turn movements from County Rd 70 / Via Veteranos onto NM 599 and construction of acceleration lanes for west bound and east bound traffic. All interested parties are invited to attend.
