Senator Heinrich discusses the fight against the opioid epidemic in New Mexico

On Friday February 23, 2018, United States Senator Martin Heinrich, along with New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas, hosted an event at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe to discuss the existing funding gaps, and need for resources on the ground to treat the opioid epidemic. Later that day Senator Heinrich was the special guest on KSWV’s NMBA award winning talk show, Health Para Todos, to discuss the fight against the opioid epidemic.
