Cause: Lightning

Size: 15 acres

Location:  Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest. Forest Road 289 within a half mile of the southern border of Bandelier Park.

Containment:  100%

Fuel:  Grass, dead and down trees

Weather:  Southwest winds 15-20, gusts up to 30 mph

Situation:  This is the final update on the Alamo Fire unless conditions change. 

Smoke/Air Quality:  Local communities may be impacted by smoke because of prevailing winds. Smoke-sensitive individuals and people with respiratory or heart disease are encouraged to take precautionary measures.
