Santa Fe Public Schools (SFPS) invites the public and members of the media to celebrate graduation festivities with four of the 16 students in the KIVA Program this week on Thursday. The KIVA Program is a post-secondary transition program for 18-22 year old students with disabilities.
When: Thursday, May 10, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: SFPS Educational Services Center Board Room 610 Alta Vista St., Santa Fe, NM 87505
The KIVA Program provides employment with community and independent living training for our students through an expeditionary instructional model based in the community. Students work at various job training sites and participate in multiple community organization and self-advocacy groups. They also receive individualized occupational, speech, physical, and social work therapies, all of which promote independence.
