Orientation Meeting/Registration for Agencies & Groups Interested in Tables for 2018 Military & Veterans Day

Veterans’ service organizations and community service provider agencies interested in being a part of 2018 Military & Veterans Appreciation Day at the State Fair are encouraged to attend a 10:30a.m. registration, orientation, & briefing on Thursday, June 15 at the African American Pavilion on the New Mexico State Fairgrounds in Albuquerque.

The meeting will be conducted by the New Mexico National Guard, the New Mexico State Fair, and the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services—the three agencies which present this annual tribute during the state fair to honor the men and women of our military.

This year’s date for Military & Veterans Appreciation Day at the State Fair is September 11.

At the June 15 orientation, prospective participants will be briefed on the rules and regulations set by state fair officials that apply to tables, booths, and other displays along “Main Street.” Rules and procedures regarding parking, display set-up and teardown will also be outlined.

There will be a limited number of booth/display spaces available for Military & Veterans Appreciation Day at the State Fair.Registration will be on a first-come, first served basis and will be done at the June 15orientation and briefing.

Registration may also be done at any time after the meeting—but will be subjected to a space available basis. Registrations will not be allowed/accepted prior to the orientation and briefing.
