MEOW WOLF ANNOUNCES EDUCATOR APPRECIATION PROGRAM

Meow Wolf recognizes the importance of educators, administrators and school staff in the community and also recognizes that New Mexico has some of the nation’s lowest teacher salary rates. The company will support New Mexico educators by offering an ongoing discount and also bring other Santa Fe businesses into the Educator Appreciation Program, which launches August 14, 2018.

The Educator Appreciation Program offers a 50 percent discount to all New Mexico K-12 public educators and school administrators who show their school ID card. At Meow Wolf, this means 50 percent off regular-priced adult admission for each educator who visits House Of Eternal Return in Santa Fe.

There is no price to join the program but Meow Wolf asks that all local businesses offer a 50 percent off discount of some kind to educators for the program’s first year from August 14, 2018 through August 12, 2019.

“Every member of Meow Wolf can easily cite at least one if not many teachers who made a life-changing difference in his or her development,” said Vince Kadlubek, Meow Wolf CEO. “Education has long been known to be the number one most efficient and effective investment a community can make. This program is a step in our efforts to change the trajectory of respect, appreciation and success here in New Mexico.”

The primary goals of the Educator Appreciation Program are to support New Mexico educators, unite Santa Fe businesses together in the effort, and to evolve the program statewide in subsequent years. Each Santa Fe business that joins will receive a number of promotional and marketing benefits:

● Logo and branding on all digital and print materials for 2018/2019 program

● Inclusion in statewide digital campaign paid for by Meow Wolf

● Printed cards and pamphlets sent directly to schools and educators

● Direct marketing to 25,000 educators in New Mexico

● One million impressions statewide through robust social media campaign
