Sportswomen’s Advocacy Trainings

By NM Wildlife
Calling all Sportswomen!
The New Mexico Wildlife Federation is so excited to be teaming up with Artemis Sportswomen for our first advocacy trainings in New Mexico. You have two opportunities to join us this week – Tuesday in Santa Fe and Thursday in Albuquerque.
People always say to “get involved” but it’s not always clear what that means. Come find out on Tuesday, August 14th and Thursday, August 16th with NMWF and Artemis for a training that will teach you how to be an effective advocate for the land and wildlife you care about.
We’ll cover wildlife and public lands issues and help you learn how to communicate with decision makers and journalists, how to stay informed about the issues you care about, how to effectively use social media, how to speak at a public meeting or public hearing and the basics of engaging others to join you in your advocacy.
