Brantley Lake State Park Hosts Safety Day on September 22, 2018

Brantley Lake State Park will host a Safety Day on Saturday,

September 22, 2018, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the day use area.  Numerous organizations including Artesia Fire, New Mexico Game and Fish, Desert Willow Wildlife Rehab, Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District, Bureau of Land Management Fire, Guadalupe National Park Service Ridge Trail, Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park and Occidental Petroleum will have booths centered around various safety topics.

The day use park fees will be waived for those attending the Safety Day event. Regular park fees will apply if staying at the park after attending the event. For more information, call the park at (575) 457-2384.
