FREE COMMUNITY FESTIVAL CELEBRATES NEW PRESBYTERIAN SANTA FE MEDICAL CENTER

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hosting a free community festival on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the new Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center on Oct. 1, 2018. The medical center is Presbyterian’s first hospital in Santa Fe and ninth in New Mexico.

“Party at the Park” will feature live music, tours of the new medical center, food trucks, free box lunches, free flu shots (for ages 5 and up), drawings for prizes and giveaways, kids’ activities and more.

Members of the media are invited to attend. Spokespeople will be available for interviews on the riser next to the stage at noon and 2 p.m. A media box will be available for the formal program at 1 p.m. 


WHAR: Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center’s Party at the Park celebration

 

WHO: Mayor Webber will kick off the day at 11 a.m. on stage. Elected and community leaders will join Presbyterian Healthcare Services leaders Dale Maxwell, president and CEO, and Helen Brooks, hospital chief executive for Santa Fe, on stage for a brief program and virtual ribbon cutting at 1 p.m.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:

For members of the community, parking will be off-site at Santa Fe Place Mall, Capital High School and Santa Fe Community College with complimentary shuttle service to and from the event. Handicap parking will be available on-site and can be used by those with a handicap parking placard or license plate.

WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – formal program begins at 1 p.m.
