By State Of New Mexico
Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on Wednesday expressed her support and appreciation to the New Mexico State House for successfully passing HB 31, legislation to raise New Mexico’s minimum wage.
“Tonight, New Mexico came one step closer to realizing a much-needed raise for more than 100,000 New Mexicans,” Gov. Lujan Grisham said. “I commend the state House for taking action to raise the minimum wage, providing a critical boost to hard-working New Mexico families and putting additional money back into our local economies. It is an essential step to pursuing economic security for all New Mexicans across the state and lifting families out of poverty.”
