All thirteen field offices of the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services (DVS) will be closed the week of April 22-26.

Each office’s Veterans Service Officer (VSO) will be attending a mandatory training conference in Santa Fe, where they will be updated on the latest VA claims/filing/processes, other VA developments, and on DVS policies/procedures.

DVS field offices are located in the following cities: Alamogordo, Albuquerque, Carlsbad, Clovis, Farmington, Gallup, Hobbs, Las Cruces, Las Vegas, Raton, Roswell, Santa Clara (Grant County), and Santa Fe. Veterans or their widows who need assistance with their VA claims during this closure period can contact the VA Regional Office in Albuquerque at (800) 827-1000. All DVS field offices will re-open on Monday, April 29, for normal business hours.

The main DVS administrative office in downtown Santa Fe will remain open for normal business hours this week.
