SFCC Native American Week Celebrations April 29-May 2

Santa Fe Community College Native American Week Celebrations. Monday, April 29: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony and Traditional Dance Groups in the SFCC Courtyard. Tuesday, April 30: Presentation by A.J. Goldman at 11 a.m. in the Campus Center. Noon: a video message from Congresswoman Deb Haaland addressing missing and murdered Indigenous Women followed by the Red Sand Project in the Courtyard. Community members are invited to participate and fill the cracks of the sidewalk with red sand to honor the missing and murdered Indigenous Women. Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 & 2: Art Show and Sale in Main Hallway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 2: Dances in Campus Center begin at 11 a.m. Free events.
