Gov. Lujan Grisham fills judicial vacancy

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham made the following appointment to the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court:

 

Jason Jaramillo: Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Judge

 

Jason Jaramillo currently works in the Bernalillo County Attorney’s Office as the senior assistant county attorney. Jaramillo has dedicated his entire legal career to public service, having previously been assigned to the Metropolitan Court Division of the Second Judicial District. As a former member of the U.S. National Guard, Jaramillo served in both Colorado and New Mexico. Jaramillo graduated from University of New Mexico School of Law in 2006. He was admitted to the New Mexico bar and U.S. District of New Mexico bar in 2007 and 2013 respectively.
