The Friends of Pancho Villa State Park will host the 14th Annual Pancho’s Car Show at Pancho Villa State Park from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 with vintage to late model show cars, motorcycles and choppers. Enjoy music, food and drink, access to the park’s Exhibit Hall and some of the best show cars and motorcycles in the southwest.
Trophies will be awarded in 15 categories including: Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best Camaro, Best Mustang, Best 4×4, Best Truck, Best Street Rod, Best Rat Rod, Best Original, Best Import, Best Antique, Best “Work in Progress”, Best Motorcycle, and Best Volkswagen. A $100 cash prize and a trophy will be awarded to the “Best of Show” vehicle.
Those interested in registering a show vehicle should call the park at 575-531-2711.
The pre-registration fee is $20 per show vehicle and includes one free lunch and soft drink per registered show vehicle, as well as one free raffle ticket. Additional vehicles entered into the show will be $10 each to register. Show vehicles may register on the day of the show for $25 between 8:00 am and 9:45 am. Please, no late entries so we can stay on schedule!
A variety of prizes will be raffled off during the show, with additional tickets available for purchase.
The park is located on the grounds of the former 13th Cavalry Camp at Columbus and the Exhibit Hall features military vehicles, a Curtiss bi-plane, and other artifacts from the era. There is a magnificent 360° view of the Chihuahuan desert from the top of Cootes Hill and a walking trail through the desert botanical garden as well as camping facilities. Regular day use and camping fees apply.
All proceeds will benefit the Friends of Pancho Villa State Park. Pancho Villa State Park is located in the village of Columbus, New Mexico, 30 miles south of Deming at the intersection of Highways 9 and 11. From El Paso, take Art Craft Rd. to NM Hwy 9 west for about 65 miles to the Highways 9 and 11 intersection.
