New Mexico State Parks Salutes Veterans on Veterans Day with Free Access to Parks

The State Parks Division (State Parks) of the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD) today announces in recognition of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11, 2019.  New Mexico residents who are currently serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and their immediate family have free day use and camping.  Whether you enjoy camping, fishing, or hiking, there is something for everyone at a state park close to you.

 

“We proudly salute all veterans and active military and thank them for their service.  We encourage them to enjoy Veterans Day with their families at one of our 34 beautiful state parks” said Christy Tafoya, Director of State Parks.
