God’s Encouraging Word of the Day

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”

Good Friday is celebrated as the day that Jesus was crucified on the cross, the day the Righteous One died for the sin of all mankind and offered His blood to atone for our sins. Wherever you are in your walk with God, whether you are on fire, or joyous, or weary, or doubting, or hurting, or in lack, or sick, you can go back to the Word of God, be encouraged with the goodness and faithfulness He has displayed from the beginning and be assured that He will finish His work in your life. It all starts with the cross.
