“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, ‘Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Mark 4:39-40

Jesus is Awesome, with power beyond our imagination;

He does not step back in any way from demons, storms, sickness, death, unbelief, adversity, or personal attacks.

For this reason, those who are in Christ need not fear such things.

Yes, Jesus can calm the storms of our lives. We need to realize, however, that this passage like most passages in the Scriptures, is not first and foremost about us. It is about Christ.
