(Santa Fe, NM) The Pueblo of Tesuque Tribal Council announced today it intends to develop a new casino at a site adjacent to the Santa Fe Opera, just off Highway 84/285. In making the announcement, the Pueblo expressed that “the Pueblo of Tesuque envisions our new casino will be timeless, inviting, and unlike any other casino in New Mexico. This development will bring fresh energy to our gaming operations with a unique look and modern amenities, all within close proximity to the Santa Fe community.” The Pueblo went on to recognize, with pride, the participation in the development of home grown New Mexico firms including Dekker Perich Sabatini, Bradbury Stamm, Bohanan Houston and Souder Miller & Associates.

The development and operation of the new casino will contribute to an increase in employment to the local labor force and the economic expansion of the region. In the first phase, the new casino will operate 750 of the newest and most popular slots and a variety of table games. Food and beverage venues will offer a fun and inviting atmosphere featuring local menu favorites. Future phases will include a hotel and other resort amenities. Ground breaking is scheduled for next month with the opening anticipated in the fall 2018.

Pueblo of Tesuque is a federally recognized tribe who follows a traditional form of government. Their history is rich in culture and customs preserving their way of life.
