SBA Accepting 2018 Small Business Week State Award Nominations

ALBUQUERQUE – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) New Mexico District Office is now accepting nominations of small businesses and champions to be recognized during a state-wide celebration in honor of SBA National Small Business Week. This is an opportunity to showcase outstanding small businesses and individuals who create jobs and contribute to developing our local economies in New Mexico. The deadline for nominations is February 28, 2018.

“Small business is key to New Mexico’s economy. 96% of our businesses are small and they employ over 55% of our state’s private workforce,” said John M. Garcia, SBA New Mexico District Director, “The SBA looks forward to recognizing our small business owners and champions- individuals who create jobs and enrich our communities. The SBA asks you to join us in celebrating these deserving individuals by nominating them for the 2018 Small Business Week New Mexico State Awards.”
