Northern New Mexico College’s Student Arts Showcase will run December 5-6, 2018 from 11 am-8 pm in the Nick Salazar Center for the Arts (CFA) The art show will feature student works in drawing, painting, pottery and photography, weaving, bultos & retablos, tinwork, and spanish colonial furniture.
Please join us for an OPENING RECEPTION with the artists on Wednesday, December 5, 12 noon – 1 pm. Refreshments will be served.
On December 5 from 1 to 3 pm, Film & Digital Media Arts students will present their final film projects in the CFA Theatre, and there will be an art sale from 11 am-4 pm. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sale will help support the Visual Arts Foundation Scholarship.
A special presentation by Artist Justin Clifford Rhody will be held to close the event on Thursday December 6, starting at 6 pm on “Art21 Berlin” and will be followed by a projection sound performance of Vernacular Visions.
All events are free and open to the public.
