Aggies win WAC tournament and head to the NCAA tournament

(Las Cruces, NM) – Despite a rookie head coach and only one senior, the 14th seed New Mexico State University (28-5) mens basketball team will square off against 3rd seed Baylor (25-7) in the NCAA tournament’s first round in Oklahoma. NMSU earned a spot in the NCAA tournament by beating Cal State Bakersfield 70-60 in the Western Athletic Conference.

According to the Las Cruces Sun News, tickets for NMSU’s first game are on-sale at the Pan American Center ticket office or by calling 575-646-1420. Tickets are priced at $100 per ticket while Aggie Athletic Club members and season ticket get priority seating.
