Here ye! Here ye! Lords and Ladies of Albuquerque, get ready for the most beloved event in the Kingdom! All of your favorites will return including The Tilted Tankard Tavern, Commoners’ Food Court, Children’s Realm, Village Shopping and more!

Enjoy food, music, demonstrations, arts, and activities all recreated from the Middle Ages! The Renaissance Faire will be returning to the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Entertainment

The Renaissance Faire will be jammed packed with entertainment from bands, skits, magic and so much more, you are not going to want to miss one second of the action! Cheer on your favorite knights in the list field or during the variety of armored combat demonstrations.

The Order of Epona group with live equestrian jousting will battle at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Faire Wear Show: Pet Fashion Contest

All attendees are highly encouraged to bring your favorite four legged family members! Don’t leave them out of the fun and be sure to dress them up for the Faire Ware Show. The Pet Fashion Contest will be at 1:30 p.m. on the battle field. Sign up at the event.

Tilted Tankard Tavern

Kings and Queens can take advantage of the opportunity to escape the hard life of running the Kingdom and spend some time in The Tilted Tankard Tavern. Enjoy food, entertainment, and libations from local vendors. The Tavern is for adults ages 21 years and up. Beer, mead, wine, and spirits will also be available throughout the Faire.

Commoners’ Food Court

A variety of food trucks will serve your favorites along with other concessions of traditional Renaissance themed food including turkey legs, corn on the cob, baked goods and more.

Village Shopping

Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all those who love Renaissance Faire goods! Delight in village shopping; featuring handcrafted items from over 50 merchants. Browse through a variety of Renaissance-themed merchandise ranging from pottery, homespun yarn, and skin care products to Renaissance clothing, housewares, and jewelry. Be prepared, as you can be sure to find tons of wonderful items to purchase.

Children’s Realm

Get your little knights, princes and princesses ready for battle with free face painting. They will also be able to join in with multiple performers including Wise Fool circus arts, crafts, and more!

Test their might with Fight a Knight on the battle field. Fight a Knight will be held at noon and 4 p.m.

Children’s activities are free.

General Admission Adult; ages 13+: $10
Children; ages 4 – 12: $5
Children; ages 3 and Under: Free
