Ride the New Mexico Rail Runner With Miss Indian World

On Tuesday, April 25, Miss Indian World will be in Albuquerque to help kick-off the 2017 Gathering of Nations Powwow. Join Danielle Ta’Sheena Finn as she rides the New Mexico Rail Runner Express and visits with passengers along the way.

Event Schedule:

Please join Miss Indian World on Tuesday, April 25 on the following trains:

  • #506 Northbound departing Downtown ABQ at 7:19 a.m. and arriving Sandoval/US 550 at 7:58 a.m.
  • #509 Southbound departing Sandoval/US 550 at 8:14 a.m. and arriving Downtown ABQ at 8:45 a.m.

About Miss Indian World:

Danielle Ta’Sheena Finn, 26 years old, is a citizen of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and is from Porcupine, North Dakota. Currently, she resides in Phoenix, Arizona where she graduated in December 2016 from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Danielle was crowned Miss Indian World last April (2016) in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Gathering of Nations Powwow. She has spent her year traveling extensively promoting Native American pride and culture as well as speaking on her platform of Suicide Prevention and Education.

About the Gathering of Nations:

The 2017 Gathering of Nations Powwow is a three day event starting on April 27 with the Miss Indian World Pageant at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The Powwow takes place on April 28 & 29 at EXPO New Mexico in Albuquerque. Learn More
