NM State Forestry News | June 13, 2017
A Red Flag Warning is in effect today (6/12/17) for Northern and Central New Mexico from 10 AM until 9 PM. The National Weather Service reports strong southwest to west winds, combined with an unstable and very dry air mass will result in widespread critical fire weather conditions today. Poor humidity recoveries tonight will be followed by another period of critical fire weather conditions for portions of northeast and east central New Mexico Tuesday (6/13/17), as high temperatures remain above normal and strong southwest to west winds, and unstable and very dry air mass persists.
