Santa Fe Public Schools Offers Summer Feeding Program

Santa Fe, NM:  Santa Fe Public Schools’ Summer Feeding Program is serving FREE meals to anyone ages 1 to 18, beginning June 5, 2017, lasting through July 21, 2017 at the Franklin Miles Park located at 1027 Camino Carlos Rey. Meal service will be from 11:00 am -1:30 pm each day, Monday through Friday.

Santa Fe Public Schools’ Summer Feeding Program will provide grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, along with fruits, vegetables and milk to all participating children. Children are NOT required to be enrolled within a school or city summer program.

“Our goal is to keep our students healthy and happy throughout the summer so they are ready to learn when school starts in August,” Student Nutrition Assistant Director, Betsy Cull states, “It doesn’t get much better than a meal at the park…food & play!”

In addition to the Summer Feeding Program at Franklin Miles Park, Santa Fe Public Schools will provide food service at 12 school sites throughout the summer.
