Hey Santa Fe residents, tarp your loads. When planning a trip to the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station or the Caja del Rio Landfill to dispose of trash, construction debris, bulky items, green waste or recyclable materials, please remember to tie down and secure your load with a tarp.

Litter and waste materials escaping from vehicles can pose safety hazards to other drivers, and they are unsightly and costly to clean up.

Your load should be covered and secured from the beginning of your trip.

An improperly secured load will result in a surcharge of $15 to $25.
