US 84/285 Bridge Work – Camel Rock Interchange in Tesuque August 26-27

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues bridge rehabilitation work on US 84/285 at mile marker 174.900 at the Camel Rock Interchange in Tesuque. This project is scheduled to be completed December 2017; weather permitting.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 26-27, US 84/285 southbound and northbound lanes will be CLOSED. The contractor will start work on the southbound lanes and then will move to the northbound lanes. The closures will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured thru the on and off ramp at the Camel Rock Interchange. Traffic can expect delays during this time.

Hasse Contracting Company, Inc. of Albuquerque, New Mexico is the contractor for the project.

Drivers are urged to watch for workers in the area, observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted speed limit. Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website, http://nmroads.com/.
