Answers to Questions about Health Insurance?

With the current challenges regarding the Affordable Care Act and consumers feeling confused as to whether or not they need to get health insurance for 2018 and whether beWellnm, the NM Health Insurance Exchange, will still be here to assist them with subsidies for their premiums, we need your help more than ever.

Yes, subsidies are still available to help pay for premiums. A family of four, at 400% above of poverty level, which is $98,400  a year, may qualify for subsidies. Please, there are plenty of choices, from Bronze plans  with $0 or low premiums, to Gold level plans that may be a better deal than some Silver level plans. We want to make sure our community knows we are here to guide and help them get the best plan for them and for their families.

Our assistance is free to the consumers, and to make it easy for them, we have 98 enrollment locations across the state, and over 100 Certified Agents and Brokers. In Albuquerque we will host four enrollment events at Catholic Charities’ new education facility in the South Valley. Click here for address and details.

Two events will be on Saturdays, and two on Wednesdays evenings to catch people as they head home from work or school. Help us spread the message and invite everyone in your network to join us. Forward this to all your server lists. We’d like to encourage consumers to make an appointment prior to the event so their wait time is not long, but walk-ins are also welcome.
