Santa Fe Desert Chorale Announces Quartet Caroling At The Genoveva Chavez Community Center

SANTA FE, NMThe fully-professional Santa Fe Desert Chorale (SFDC) announced a new collaboration with the Genoveva Chavez Community Center Ice Arena (Chavez Center) which will occur during its 35th Anniversary Winter Festival. A quartet of Santa Fe Desert Chorale vocalists: soprano, Beth Peregrine; alto, Jennifer Muñoz; tenor, Bradley Naylor; and bass, Fernando Muñoz will perform carols for youth participating in the Chavez Center’s Winter Break Camp in Santa Fe, NM. The appearance at 3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 1:45 p.m. is one of a free series of six caroling appearances around Santa Fe as part of the Chorale’s Community Engagement programming.

In making the announcement, Community Engagement Liaison, Emma Marzen said, “The Desert Chorale’s quartet appearance at the City of Santa Fe’s Genoveva Chavez Community Center is perfectly in alignment with its Community Engagement purpose statement to share the power of music with diverse populations by providing arts access through collaborative programming and community engagement. The event should be a delightful event for the Chorale vocalists and young skaters alike.
