SFCC Celebrates International Women’s Day March 8

Santa Fe Community College Celebrates International Women’s Day with a presentation by Tewa Women United. Speaker Kathy Sanchez will discuss Indigenous Women’s Rights, history and culture in northern New Mexico from 10 to 11 a.m., Thurs., March 8, in the Boardroom, room 223, at 6401 Richards Ave. Sponsored by SFCC’s Presidential Diversity Action Committee and Center for Diversity and Integrated Learning (CDIL) and the City of Santa Fe Arts Commission. The celebration continues in Campus Center with speakers and music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring a performance by Indigie Femme beginning at 12:30 p.m. Sponsored by SFCC’s CDIL.
