The series, which can be seen in over 96% of the USA on PBS stations, features Santa Fe alongside such destinations as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Martinique and Great Britain and the experiences Emmy-nominated TV host Darley Newman uncovered may surprise area viewers.

Travels with Darley follows TV host Darley Newman, who also hosts the longtime Equitrekking series, in beautiful, awe-inspiring places as she experiences what gives each destination its authentic “sense of place” . . . all with the help of local residents. Each episode introduces millions of U.S. and global viewers to food, nature, art, music, history, attractions and adventure, showcasing what makes each location truly unique. This season brings the series to 30 half hours and also includes an episode filmed in New Mexico along the Continental Divide Trail, which features a stop at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe. “We were welcomed by locals who shared their passion for the rich food, architecture, crafts and traditions of Santa Fe, which are truly special,” said Newman. “Santa Fe has a breadth of diversity for travelers of all tastes and budgets. I particularly like that you can enjoy art and architecture downtown and within a short drive be immersed in nature. Many of the experiences we’re showcasing in these episodes are accessible to all skill levels, whether you’re an avid hiker or mountain biker or just a novice looking to enjoy some time outside.”
