SFCC celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15 to Oct. 15

Santa Fe Community College will celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.  Activities will kick off on Monday, Sept. 17 with a dance performance by Baile Folklorico from noon to 12:30 p.m. and a singing performance by Jovita Enriquez from 12:30 to 1 p.m. All the free events are open to the public and are on the college campus, 6401 Richards Ave.

The month-long celebration will continue with weekly events that will include music performances, cultural panels, a salsa-tasting contest and lectures and discussions by members of SFCC faculty and staff.

A full schedule will be updated weekly at www.sfcc.edu/sfccfiesta.

The events are supported by President’s Advisory Council and the Office of Student Development.
