U.S. 84/285 – Espanola (Stanley Griego Bridge) Lane Closures

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and Hasse Contracting Co. continues bridge rehabilitation work on U.S. 84/285 at mile marker 189.00 Stanley Griego Bridge.  The contractor is replacing the bridge joints.

 

On Monday, February 18 – U.S. 84/285 at the Stanley Griego Bridge will have the northbound and southbound middle lanes CLOSED.  Both outside lanes will be opened and there will be one lane of travel in each direction. The lane closures will be in effect until early April 2019.  There will be a 10’ width restriction.

 

Motorists can expect minor traffic delays during this time.  NMDOT thanks you for your patience during this bridge improvement project.

 

Drivers are urged to watch for workers in the area, observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted speed limit.  Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website, http://nmroads.com/.
