Dear military, first responder’s agencies and veterans of Santa Fe New Mexico
Santa Fe High School and St. Michael’s High School Football Programs request the honor of your presence at a very special night set aside to honor your service. On Friday September 27, 2019 at Ivan Head Stadium we have planned an event that pays tribute to Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders during the annual football game between our schools. Our community is grateful for each of your contributions and we would love to see as many of you as can make it. There are some nice surprises in store and the night should be a lot of fun.
We are requesting that all agencies please send as many of their first responders as can attend! Likewise we would love to have as many veterans and active duty military come and join us. All First Responders and military in uniform will be given free admittance to the game.
The schedule of events follows:
• We would like to have one vehicle from each First Responder’s Agency or Military group parked in the south end zone along with one parked up at the northern top of the stadium. (Please note we would ask that you have vehicles in place by 6:00 since crowds will get big and we don’t want it to be dangerous maneuvering through crowd.)
• 6:20 PM First Responders, Veterans, and Active Duty Military please arrive at the south end zone of the Ivan Head Stadium- football field located at Santa Fe High School (2100 Yucca St., Santa Fe, NM 87505).
• We will begin our ceremony soon after this. Each agency will be recognized and escorted to center of the field. We respectfully request that all First Responders and veterans please remain in the center of football field for the National Anthem.
• 7:00 PM- GAME TIME! As our special guest we request for all First Responders and Veterans to stay and cheer on your favorite team!!!
