The New Mexico State University Alumni Association is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2020 Alumni Awards are now being accepted. The deadline for nominations is April 9, 2020.
Distinguished Alumni Award
The prestigious Distinguished Alumni award, established in 1956, recognizes living NMSU alumni who have achieved national or international distinction by their accomplishments and leadership. In addition to achieving distinction in his/her business or professional life, nominees must have performed specific, meritorious service which reflects the quality and advancement of NMSU.
James F. Cole Memorial Award for Service
The James F. Cole Memorial Award for Service, established in 1966, recognizes those who have shown progressive support to NMSU, dedicated involvement with NMSU, impactful civic and humanitarian service at NMSU and within the communities around them, and notable professional service.
Young Alumni Service Award
The Young Alumni Service Award, established in 2019, recognizes living NMSU alumni, under the age of 40, who as emerging leaders, demonstrate
commitment to excellence in service for their professions and exemplify on-going contributions to their communities, multicultural relations and/or volunteerism.

Please Note: Alumni & Friends currently serving on any NMSU Advancement Board, including the NMSU Foundation Board of Directors, the NMSU Alumni Association International Board of Directors, and the Pioneers Board are not eligible for nomination.
Completed applications should be submitted online prior to April 9, 2020.
