The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services

By DVS

The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services (DVS) will hold a Veterans Benefits Claims Clinic in Santa Fe from 9am-4pm on Friday, February 28.

The event will be at the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions building at 301 W. De Vargas Street in downtown Santa Fe. DVS staff will be available to assist veterans file for service connected disability compensation, low-income pension benefits, claim\appeal status, and provide information regarding all federal VA benefits and state benefits—with the ability to print state veterans property tax waiver or exemption certificates on-site.

Veterans are urged to bring their DD214 separation papers, VA decision ratings, medical evidence, and any other paperwork to help with any filing process which can begin on site. Veterans can also apply for replacements for lost or damaged DD214’s.
