International Day of Prayer – Pray for Peace of Jerusalem – Ways to Bless Israel

On March 6th, millions of Christians will gather together for an international day of prayer. We will approach the throne of grace with thanksgiving, supplications, and entreaties, on a range of issues–our families, our health, our finances, our futures, and the list goes on. But just as we are commanded in the Bible to seek God in prayer and to sing, so too we are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Psalm 122:6 says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper who love you.” Praying for Israel is an effective way to bless Israel–which is also commanded in Scripture (see Genesis 12:3). While prayer is effective, speaking up on Israel’s behalf is another way to follow God’s mandate to bless Israel.

How will you bless Israel this week?

Make plans to gather with thousands of Christian Zionists in Washington, DC for our annual CUFI Summit. Our unity will send a clear message to our Jewish friends everywhere that we stand with them in the fight none of us can afford to lose.
