Gods encouraging word of the day

“But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Mathew 9:13

Jesus wants for us to move beyond the idea of sacrifice “what we feel obligated to give up.”  He wants us to get our hearts involved. He wants us to genuinely take an interest in other people’s lives.So much so that the word sacrifice drops out of our vocabulary, so that all we know is the passion to love others as he loves us.
