Applications being accepted for NM State House of Representatives District 48 Vacancy

Santa Fe County is accepting applications from individuals who wish to be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) to the position of State Representative for House of Representatives District 48, which is vacant due to the resignation of former Representative Linda Trujillo. Notarized applications and all supporting documentation are due to the County Manager’s Office by 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020. 

The Board will consider all notarized applications that are received by the deadline and determine an appointee at a forthcoming public meeting. This meeting will be duly noticed in accordance with the New Mexico Open Meetings Act; applicants will be personally notified with meeting details.

Applications and supporting documentation, including letters of interest and resumes, must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered. To apply, download the required application from the following link:
