Dusty Young, associate director of the New Mexico Activities Association, says, “Yeah, this season will be very interesting, that’s for sure!”.
For this, you can blame the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, but don’t blame the NMAA, for it has worked hard to piece together the 2020-2021 amended NMAA sports calendar. It provides seasons for all 13 sports sanctioned by the Association. It has enclosed the tentative dates for both the start of official season and state championship events for each sport that is listed.
Also, note all dates/limits subject to change due to the ever-evolving virus threat.
